Velvet eyes
i dream of you
darker than midnite
lighter than the dawn
walking like you are floating
a princess above the clouds

i dream of you
walking in the sand
hand in hand
the way you dance
with me so sweet and slow
i never could believe
that you would ever go
ruby lips, pressed so hard to mine
so many sweet times drinking your wine

came a day i could not/ find you
now i know. I should have married you
velvet sweet love/oh so sweet and slow
now you wander in my dreams
as i lay on velvet sheets
dreaming velvet dreams...
